Owner & Founder of My Autism Army
This beautiful online community was inspired by my son Caleb’s recent Autism Diagnoses. Shortly after Caleb was diagnosed with ASD (February of 2017) at the Kennedy Krieger Institute Center for Autism, an AMAZING socialization program became available for us to participate in. Not only did the class involve a specialized program for Caleb, it also included a parent group for each parent/caregiver to learn how to best work with their children at home. I feel SO fortunate to have learned everything I did, and this is what inspired me the most, to share all of my knowledge and resources with each of you.
Over the next few months, I will be working to create an online video course for parents of young (1-3yrs old) children to use as a resource for not only understanding autism, but to teach you exactly how to work with your child at their own pace using routines, gestures, and more.
In the meantime, be sure to check-out SPARK!
